Hi, I'm Nils! 👋🏻

I am an AI Research Engineer at Helsing.

Prior to that, I was a Postdoctoral Research Engineer at International Audio Laboratories Erlangen. My research topic was audio signal processing and machine learning in the Internet-of-Things, using compressive sensing and deep neural networks.

I did my PhD at the same institute, supervised by Bernd Edler. My research topic was the development of a framework for designing non-uniform orthogonal lapped filterbanks for audio signal analysis and audio signal coding.
